Sweet pastel birthday card

 

The sentiment could definitely have been darker but I love the look of this pastel card.  Used an edging tool to get the chevron in the lovely pastels.  Just highliter to color the cute little doilie and of course stamped sentiment.  Would be cute for a little girl or boy even.  I do like this one quite a bit

star embossed with glitter added

 I took the same simple card and added a little glue to where the stars are and added a tiny amount of the stunning ballroom blitz from The Glitter Guy and suddenly it looks like the night sky!!  Just the right amount of sparkle and totally changes the look.  Just takes up a notch!!

Card embossed w sentiment

 This is a very simple yet elegant and lovely card.  Was surprised how absolutely beautiful a card could be when all i did was take an a2 card base and emboss a mat made with black cardstock and then added a sentiment using embossing powder.  So many possible uses for a card like this.  Love the simplicity.  If I was a better card maker I can only imagine how beautiful I could make a card like this

 Got my stampin up slimline dies and am so in love with them!!  My cards are definitely still beginner and much work is needed but I don't have any give up in me and want to produce the same beautiful cards I see other people make!!  Just got to keep practicing!!

Chinese new year

 My first 2 cards.  The gold should have been foiled with the cricut foiling tool but was unable to fine the many sheets of foil I own so used a gold cricut pen.  This is the first card I have felt was even decent but I'm still not overly happy with this.  Was starting to feel like if I didn't just put something out here I never would!!
