All Squared Away

This card includes a few of Stampin Ups recently retired colors, they will be missed.  The star is of course the retired All Squared Away stamps/dies.  I didnt know how I felt about these colors until I started putting it together and I love them all together.  This is the first time I have used this stamp/die set but I do love it and I can see alot more cards using this set in the future.  I am submitting to the following challenges:

Blue Blooms

I used the brand new colors blueberry bushel and lost lagoon plus oldies but goodies balmy blue and pool party on this card.  I used the basket weave 3d embossing folder for a little texture.  The flowers come from the beautiful brushed bouquet stamps and dies from Stampin up.  I really like the way the darker blue looks with the lighter ones, just the right amount of contrast and the blues are all gorgeous.  I am submitting to the following challenges:

Bright Circles

I used parakeet party, tahitian tide and daffodil delight on this card.  I really like this combination.  I ran it through with a buffalo plaid embossing folder to add texture.  I stamped the sending from sending smiles from Stampin Up on the daffodil delight cardstock with matching ink.  It could work for a masculine card very easily.  I am submitting to the following challenges:

Double Flap Fun

I Loved the look of this double flap card and it made me think in the country.  No other stamps and dies say country like Cottage Rose from Stampin Up.  I also thought craft paper would make the perfect base with basic gray and blushing bride.  I wanted a watercolor look so I did that with my water painters.  Used blushing bride and mossy meadow for the leaves because I thought it went well with the theme.  I am submitting to the following challenges:

This card also completes the other dares from thing 1,2 and 3.  I am also submiting to:

My card includes kraft paper and my favorite animal. I added the pretty pink butterfly to give it more of a in the country feel plus I love butterflies.

Pretty Pop Ups

I love purples and greens together, probably my favorite color combo.  Needless to say when I decided I wanted to use my pretty pop ups dies (retired, SU) I couldnt thimk of amy other colors I would rather use.  I love the way it cuts the wings on the dragonfly and butterfly and the petals and leaves but doeant cut all the way.  Just pulling those elements up really gives this card a little something.  I also love the die cut sentiment (amazing thanks, also retired).  The colors are all still current, fresh fresia even went from being an in color that was being retired to a regular subtle.  Im so glad bc I do love it!!  I also really like the bright gree parakeet party and the gorgeous grape.  I used basic white thick for the card base and basic white for the front.  I am submitting this to the following challenges:

I have some leftover dandy delights dsp left over from sale a bration so I decided to use a few sheets and one of my newest sets called Blessings of Home, a retired stamp and die set from Stampin Up.  Its got this beautiful large floral image that is great to color or to just stamp black and cut out.  I am submitting to the following challenges:

I made this card because I had never used these dies.  Actually have the stamps as well but I also planned on submitting it to Christmas Craft Creations challenge and the theme is no stamping.  Considering this I used only the dies to build my card.  I cannot remember but this set is retired stampin up.  It could be one of my favoritees with all of the cute scene building elements.  I didnt even use half, there were a bunch more.  I did use a brand new in color called boho blue, It worked perfectly I think for a snowy/icy feel.  I also used basic white thick for the inner card and some DSP I believe is called Greatest Journey, It was in the last mini catalog and is retired at this time also.  Will be putting this up to give to someone for christmas or a winter celebration.  I am also submitting to the following challenges:

Ice Cream Social

I made this center step card using the Share a Milkshake stamps and dies.  This is still available in the new 23-24 catalog.  It is the cutest stamp set and the dies are absolutely awesome.  I have used this set so many times!!  You probably cant tell from the picture but the large scoop used has a little slit so you can tuck you straw or spoon in it.  My sentiment at the bottom is also from this set.  I stamped my own dsp for the sides and Im so happy with how that turned out.  I love the way the whole card came together and I am pretty sure I know who will be getting it.  I do hope they love it as much as I do.  I am submitting to the following challenges:

I made my box card with all stampin up products.  Im using the textured floral bundle.  The flowers and greenery in the stamps and dies are so beautiful and work so well together or could work with many other stamp sets.  The sentiments are a lovely scripty font and Im glad I picked this one up.  I almost didnt.  It folds flat to fit perfectly in a medium sized envelope.  I know I would be so happy to receive a card like this.  It looks beautiful displayed.   i am submitting to the following challenges:

Made this using all stampin up products.  The stamp and die set are retired I am pretty sure, they are the quite curvy set.  I love the border dies stampin up has offered over the years.  They are always so beautiful and easy to use.  They add an elegant touch to any creation.  This set of dies was really great because it coordinated with 2 stamp sets, one for christmas and the other an everyday set.  I am using the brand new color blueberry bushel for the blue in this card.  It is such a pretty blue, not too bright and not too dark!!  All of the new colors plus the in colors are absolutely beautiful.  I love their products for the color coordination.  I am terrible at putting colors together but with the products from stampin up it is all basically done for me.  They make it almost effortless!!  Submitting to the following challenges:

Flippity Flappity

I made this interactive flap card with all Stampin up products but the star of the show is the Circle Sayings stamp set from the new annual catalog.  If you purchase the bundle and save 10% it comes with a 2 3/8 inch circle punch.  I of course did not use that here but they work beautifully together.  I love the half circle stamps like the one on the outer and inner flap.  It has some lovely sentiments with beautiful fonts similar to the smile seen here.  It was such a fun card to make and I already have several ideas for more.  Submitting to the following challenges:

My Daddys Tackle Box

This is another card I cased from Rachel Tessman.  When I got the Gone Fishin bundle from the Stampin ups new annual catalog I knew I would be making a card for my daddy and my hubby but how or what it would look like I didnt know.  I was on pinterest and ran across this from R. Tessman and knew this was it.  The most important men in my life love fishing so I will love making these for them all!!  Submitting into the following challenges:

I cased this pillar card idea from Rachel Tessman at Stamp Your Art out.  She is one of the most talented carmakers I have ever seen.  No only are her cards beautiful but she is such a good teacher.  She is very detailed and offers many tips to make it even easier.  There also a PDF with almost all of her videos with pictures, measurements and even a template if a more complex card.  I used blackberry bliss and basic white cardstock, DSP is Design a Daydream, it is retired but I didnt like it as much as I thought so I have almost a full pack left.  I used the Fun on Wheels bundle from the new stampin up annual catalog. Its such a fun bundle with the bikes and skateboard and scooter and the cute fun sentiments.  I was so plesed with the end result, its probably one of my favorite cards.  This layout is so much easier than it looks that I already have ideas for more.  Submitted to the following challenges:

Gatefold and Frames

I saw this card idea on Gina K. Designs and fell in love with it!!  I love the gatefold with the flower frame and the surprise of another on the opposite side.  I thought it was such a good idea for the sentiment on the outside and another one hidden.  I used the framed florets bundle from stampin up for the images.  They were stamped and colored with blends from stampin up as well.  I really thought the fresh fresia and blueberry bushel went well together.  The card base is blueberry bushel 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 at 2 1/8 on either side.  The frames were cut from fresh fresia, the imagesd, sentiment and inside are basic white.  Fresh fresia and blueberry bushel blends were used to color images and then stamped sentiments with fresh fresia, blueberry bushel and memento black inks.  Submitting this to the following challenges:

Im a Paper Florist

This was made using the Paper Florist die set in the new stampin up annual catalog.  I also used the new incolors, pebbled path for the backing layer and I used moody mauve and boho blue by waterpainting them on watercolor paper then cutting the petals from it after it dired.  I also used wild wheat for the centers.  The cute little Hello sentiment was stamped in moody mauve from thewonderful thughts stamp set and was actually cut from the coodinating dies and popped up with mini dimensionals.  Mossy meadow was used in the same way for the leaves to have the same watercolor look.  The entire panel was adhered to a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of thick basic white cardstock scored in half at 4 1/4.  I love the new incolors, I really did not think I would because the did seem a bit dull but they really are just beautiful and coordinate so well together.  I also love this die set, 3d projects are my favorite and these are 3d when they are put together and they make several different types of flowers and they are all beautiful!!  All items are available in the 23-24 Stampin Up annual catalog!!

I made thid adorable little 3.5" square card using Stampin Up Basic white, thick, cardstock, with a 3x3 panel of regular basic white layer that has been stamped with the In the stars background stamp in memento tuxedo black, fresh fuschia and highland heather.  I stamped the sentiment and the cute little images from the Little Dreamers bundle.  I stamped, colored with blends and die cut with the exception of the sentiment, that was fussy cut using my snips.  I think its just an adorable critter trying to catch the shooting star!!  Love this stamp and die set!!  All of these are available in the annual catalog 23-24 that just went live on 5/2/23.
