Make this christmas memorable

I did this project to try out my spellbinders monthly box.  I signed up for the big one for this release bc I love christmas in July products and this one did not disappoint. I highly recommend it if you are not in any of the clubs but this particular kit is 130$ so totally understandable with everything being so high priced these days if you wanted to start smaller and maybe move up.  I love this kit because they always add a couple extra surprises and they even include a 10 pack of their excellent new cardstock in different colors to match the kit.  For this I used the festive forest betterpress plate on spellbinders watercolor paper and used Gina K medium and dark spruce inks for some texture and they worked beautifully.  I did red and gold splaters with metallic watercolors (from Amazon) I used gold thread from stampin up (retired) and Used strawberry slush ink to press the sentiment.  This is a beautiful plate, slightly larger that an a2 card panel but sized perfectly.  Spellbinders press plates can also be foiled with their glimmer and I will be trying that next bc I think it will be absolutely beautiful.

I will be entering my project in the following challenges:

Blue Sky Card for Cardz 4 galz design team

I made this project using spellbinders watercolor paper and altenew watercolor set lush terra.
It had the perfect blue , green and brown for just the 1 layer paintng.  I used a White Gel pen to add some texture to the blue sky and in the water so it looked like breaks where the waves are.  I used the gink k tropical sillhouettes stamp set for all of the stamping.  This is my inspiration card for cardz 4 galz challenge blog, and I am pretty happy with the end result and could hopefully help someone with a jumping off point if they have any trouble getting started with the challenge.  I look forward to seeing all of the lovely cards that get entered bc we see some serious talent!!  Have fun and good luck!!

Cardz 4 galz Rainbow theme Insp.

For the Cardz4Galz challenge blog this 2 weeks the theme was key word "Rainbow" my contribution was a couple days late but this is my inspiration project.  I had literally gotten the adorable rainbow stamp set just like a few days before the new challenge started in a mystery box that was such a great value from pink and main!!  I felt it was a sign I was meant to use it and I just love the way sh turned out!!  so colorful and the pink and main products are such quality products!!  It was such a full box of so many beautiful products.  Like christmas for a kid.  The background was made using the i believe its called the sun sea and sand stencil from gina k designs which just happens to be a favorite of mine it is so fun and versatile.  My inks were all Gina K designs.  I have them written down and as soon as I find the list of the ones used I will come back and add!!  Cant wait to see all of the colorful beautiful entries bc I have never been let down by anyone that enters the challenge!!  Everyone is so talented and I always learn one or 2 new things from them.  I hope everyone has a great time and good luck!!!

Cardz 4 Galz- CAS Card

This project is my contribution to the Cardz 4 Galz CAS challenge.

Cards 4 Galz Friend Project

I made this card as part of the design team for Cardz 4 Galz.  I have really been enjoying being a part of such an amazing, talented design team!!  I feel I have definitely gotten my mojo back from Dr. Evil (Terribly corny, old joke lol).  Yeah Baby!!  It does feel good being able to actually make projects that meet my standards.  It is also a pleasure to see the entries that are always so beautiful and well just amazing.  I am so inpressed with the paper crafting community, they are some friendly, helpful, caring, talented people and I truly feel honored every day to be involved in such an awesome community!!  For my project I used the following:

Stamps- Maker Forte- Elegant Roses (I fussy cut the flowers and leaves after stamping with versamark ink and heat embossing with gina k designs gold detail embossing powder.  The greeting is from the very cool modern greetings stamp and die set from Gina K. Designs stamped in versa fine clair black.

Cardstock- Spellbinders 8 1/2 x 11 watercolor paper for the flowers (cut down to an A2 size panel), Neenah solar white 110 lb cut in half at 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4 for an A2 card.  I also cut a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 panel of neenah solar white for the front panel.

Ink- I watercolored the flowers with a watercolor set from amazon (currently sold out), I also ink blended light lilac with a very light hand all over the panel (Ink from Gina K. Designs).

Tools- I used the largest die from the teardrop point nesting dies from Simon Says Stamp, I absolutely love this set of nesting dies, they are so beautiful and versatile with many sizes to choose from and best of all at an amazing price point!!  Last I added a few embellishments from the cool tones pawsitively dazzling gems from simon says stamp.

Seaside/Coast (C4G Challenge)

I made this card for the Cardz 4 Galz design team.  The theme for today (6/11/26) is a seaside/coast project.  I used the oceanfront stamp set and the beach day stamp and die set (both stampin up, both retired).  I also used the hero arts unbelivably awesome stamp and die set (just for the details of the clouds and the water breaks).  I stamped the beautiful oceanfront design using my misti on an a2 panel that I then cut out using the wavy edge nesting dies (scrapbook.com).  The silhouette palm tree and the lovely shells were cut from the beach day dies the sentiment, that I just love is also from that bundle.  I used a tonic embossing pen to draw in the birds and used gina k black detail embossing powder.  I adhered the panel to an a2 top folding card made from neenah solar white 110 lb cardstock.
